Andrew Collins serves Cedar Lane as Children’s Minister. He has worked in full time youth ministry for over 15 years, working with kids from all different types of background and upbringing, before coming to work with us. He graduated from MTSU with a degree in Mass Communications and minors in Art and Psychology in 2000 and soon after married his college sweetheart Rachel. Both being from middle Tennessee, they’re excited that their journey with God has lead them back here with their three beautiful children.
Many have asked why the transition from youth ministry to children’s. The short answer is simple: After working for over a decade and a half with teens, God has shown Andrew the need to reach children with the message of Christ at a younger age, and to partner with and equip parents while their kids are still young, so they can better navigate the often difficult teen years.
